Welcome to my webpage!
I am currently a Software Engineer at Google on the Flume team. Flume is the internal product most similar to Google Cloud Dataflow programmable using the Apache Beam libraries. Here’s a paper published about Flume a few years ago.
In the past I have had the good fortune to work at:
- Altiscale Inc (acquired by SAP) in Palo Alto, CA where I continued working on Apache Hadoop and facilitating Big Data Analytics.
- Yahoo! at its branch office in Champaign, IL and thoroughly enjoyed it. My department was the Cloud Platforms Group. Champaign, IL was a nice change from Los Angeles, CA. Its a small university town in the mid-west surrounded for hundreds of miles by corn fields (and snow in the winters).
- Tavare Research Lab, Department of Computational and Molecular Biology as a Programmer Analyst at the University of Southern California (USC), Los Angeles. I graduated Fall of 2008 with my Master’s from USC majoring in Computer Science. (Fight on TROJANS!!!!) :) My undergraduate education was at Amity School of Engineering & Technology (GGS Indraprastha University, New Delhi) majoring in Computer Science & Engineering and my schooling was from Delhi Public School.
Here’s my github.
