C++
This is going to be a central point of collation for all things C++. It is likely my first choice in languages. Although I follow a style guide that restricts the features of the languages that I mostly use, I believe it is still an incredibly powerful language. It also gives me more control than I know how to use right now, but that’s a problem I hope to solve by meandering. I’ve heard the arguments from C programmers, but I like my objects very much, thank you. And despite incredibly complicated software being written in C (e.g. Linux), I still entertain the idea that the higher level abstractions are useful.
